Supply Chain Specialist is needed to perform the following duties:
- Responsible for the primary relationship between the vendor’s operations team and National Cortina’s operations team. Responsible for acting as the primary point of contact at the vendor (supplies services) and supplier (provides goods) level.
- Coordinates between vendor and customer in managing new private label programs from beginning to closing
- Acts as the project manager for private label programs.
- Acts as the main negotiator for the supplier.
- Acts as a conduit between the supplier and customer management team to ensure that proper documentation is obtained and provided as appropriate.
- Works hand in hand with sales, QA, and suppliers to identify and obtain necessary documentation when onboarding new customers and new products.
- Responsible for private label program set up. Works with customer to upload information about the new product – height, weight, ingredient statements, and supplier documentation.
- Submits the purchase orders the supplier then follows the order through the process until the product arrives in the US.
- Receives purchase orders customer management into company’s ERP platform and develops and maintains a cost of goods control system; by timely and accurately allocating all costs.
- Sends National Cortina purchase orders to the supplier and proactively maintains communication with the vendor to ensure the order ships timely.
- Responsible for order fulfillment of private label program.
- Holds supplier accountable for delivering and following through on commitments.
- Works with suppliers to remediate claims to pursue appropriate credits.
- Responsible for customer Q&A, regulatory compliance, and operations to anticipate and address possible problems.
- Creates reports to assist Sales with tracking vendor contracts, costs and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements through tracking of KPI’s using the ERP system Net Suite/Microsoft Dynamics on a monthly basis.
- Manages daily Vendor Supply Chain functions such as tracking customer forecasts and warehouse inventory levels, to ensure a constant supply of product without over purchasing.
- Creates and sends in transit inventory reports along with the respective product and logistics costs to the accounting team to maintain accurate cash flow forecasting.
- Communicates and coordinates with customer management team and suppliers to ensure on time and accurate product deliveries. This is accomplished by the use of the project management tools and the understanding of both supplier and transit lead times.
- Develops a risk register to identify root causes and corrective actions for project deviations and investigates any delays or issues that may present themselves.
- Develops and implements SOPs and policies within the team to increase cost savings, maintaining organizational compliance, and continuously improving processes.
- Identifies inefficiencies and areas for improvement in the supply chain processes. Develops and implements strategies to enhance operational performance, reduce lead times, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Actively participates in project initiatives that focus on efficiencies, improved service, and business growth.
- Assists Supply Chain Manager in various other aspects related to Operations / Supply Chain, and to back up other team members in their absence.
- Communicates effectively with supply chain manager to align logistics strategies with business objectives.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree is required in Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering or Engineering Management.
Salary Range: $75,000 – $82,000

Project Engineer is needed to perform the following duties:
Bachelor’s Degree is required in Industrial Engineering.
- Production planning for clients as per the forecast provided by them & delivery scheduling for the same
- Handling international logistics (Air & Ocean freight) by working directly with international freight forwarders from Europe, South America & Asia as well handling customs and duty filing by working with the custom brokers
- Project Management, creating purchase orders, shipment schedules, work orders & margin analysis on Microsoft Dynamics – Great Plains
- Route planning, tracking KPIs, data analysis and suggesting cost improvements, cycle counting, implementing supply chain optimization.
- Domestic logistics – Planning domestic movements from ports to customers or distribution centers.
- Working closely with marketing and sales team for accurate forecast and creating purchase orders for goods, sending POs to vendors
- Inventory management – Managing overall inventory at different warehouses and avoiding overstocking and out of stock issues
- Negotiating with overseas freight forwarders and local carriers for cost optimization, reducing lead times and avoiding supply chain delays
- Working on different projects for National Cortina as well as their clients and troubleshooting issues if any
- Be in touch with clients, vendors and coworkers and getting updates on the ongoing projects / open contracts
- Market analysis and studying material flow and on-going trends to see how the projects will be progressing
- Review production schedules and documentation needed to pass all the quality tests
- Analyze statistical data and other product specifications to make sure all products sold are reliable and of high-quality standards
- Analyze the landed cost of all items when bringing in from overseas and find out ways to minimize the landed cost
- Scheduling weekly client calls to make sure everything is on track and all demands are fulfilled
